SUMMER 25/26 REGISTRATION FEES

** Note: Basketball Victoria and Basketball Australia fees are only paid once a year

DISCOUNT FOR UNDER 8 PLAYERS

The Club covers the $100 training fees for our Under 8 players, so this is discounted off their registration. So Under 8 players pay only the $50 registration and $220/$205 team sheet fees amounts of the Nunawading Kangas fees. 

We offer U8 places for boys on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings; and U8 places for girls Monday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

SIBLING DISCOUNT

A 5% sibling discount will be applied to the NK Registration and Training fees for any second or subsequent registrations.  This will alutomatically be applied by PlayHQ if players are all be registered by the same PlayHQ account holder.

DISCOUNT FOR NON-TRAINING TEAMS

Players in teams that do not have training sessions, do not pay the $100 training fee.  This typicially applies to Friday Night registrations.

PAYMENT OPTIONS - PLAY HQ - Buy Now, Pay Later / Instalments  

PlayHQ will now have the choice to pay in instalments using the PayPal "Pay in 4" option. This option not only eases the financial burden of paying fees upfront but also ensures that the Clubs receive their full fees upfront.

We encourage you to contact the Regsitrar at Registrar@nunawadingkangas.com,au if fee payment up front will be an issue your family.  It's important to us that kids don't miss out on playing because financial issues.

GET ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS

We are able to accept Get Active Kids Vouchers through our association with Basketball Victoria.  As each round of vouchers opens, eligibile families are able to either obtain a voucher through Sports and Recreation Victoria prior to completing their PlayHQ registration and use the voucher code provided when registering, or aply to SRV to be reimbursed for fees already paid in the voucher period.

To be eligible players must be 0-18 years old named on a Health Care Card or Pension Concession Card and Medicare Card.  Please use Baskeball Victoria (provider number 2951096 ) as the provider in your voucher application.

LATE REGISTRATION FEE

We will only accept late registrations (after registration closes) if the relevant Age Group Coordinator confirms there is a vacancy in a team.  Due to the difficulties that arise when players ask to register late, a late payment fee of $50 will be automatically added to any registration after the official closing date.  Please ensure you register by the official closing date to avoid this additional charge.

AGE GROUPS FOR SUMMER 25/26

The age group cut off date for Winter 2025 is 31/12/25.  This means you determine your child's age group by considering their age at 31/12/25. 

You can view the full age group date ranges on our website through the Play for Kangas menu and selecting the Register to Play option.

Most players will play in their correct age group - it is unusual to play in a different age group. If you are thinking of asking for your child to play out of their age group, please check the tables to confirm the correct age group and if you still want to register for a different age group, please contact your Age Group Coordinator via the emails below to discuss your request before you register.

Please note that positions in an older grade are subject to availabilty and if numbers do not allow this, the Club may need to place players in their correct age group.

NOT REGISTERING FOR SUMMER?

If your player will not be registering for the new season, please use this link to let us know and we will remove your name from our follow up list.

NEW-STYLE KANGAS REVERSIBLE SINGLETS ARE HERE – ORDER NOW!

We are continuing the transition to the new reversible singlets and encourage you to place your order.  We expect to transition to the new style reversible singlets fully this year, with the old-style uniforms scheduled to be phased out by the Club from mid-2025 onwards.  

IMPORTANT FOR NEW PLAYERS: Please ensure you order your uniform immediately upon registration to ensure you have your uniform ready for the start of the season. Before you select your singlet number, ensure you have followed the number selection process on our website - https://www.nunawadingkangas.com.au/players/uniforms

Please ensure you order by the 15^th of the month, as delivery will be 3-4 weeks after the cut-off date. There is a flat shipping cost of $13.20 so if you can get a few players in your team to purchase a new singlet together, you can split the cost of shipping among you.
